Motorcycle Tyre and Rim Insurance
Tyre and rim insurance for your motorcycle can save you from significant repair and replacement bills down the line if you experience a flat tyre, blowout, or damage to your rims. Most tyre and rim warranties expire after a couple years though, so what do you do after that? The solution is extended motorcycle tyre and rim insurance, which will extend your coverage beyond the original warranty term.
Why Choose Us?
We work with the top auto insurance providers in Australia, to bring you affordable coverage options. Working with the best insurers allows us to offer the lowest prices available. Not only that, but our policies offer great value for the money as well.
When you choose an extended warranty policy with us, your benefits will include no excess on claims and towing services. Additional benefits may include 24-hour roadside assistance and emergency accommodations. Whatever level of coverage you want, we will work with you to customise a policy that’s right for you. Additionally, our claim payout rate on legitimate claims is a perfect 100%!
What’s Covered?
Should you experience tyre damage, we will cover the repair costs or pay up to the amount specified in your specific policy for a replacement tyre if it cannot be repaired. For motorcycle rims, we will pay up to the amount specified in your policy for a repair or replacement. Our policies cover tyre and rim damage from the following:
- Potholes
- Nails
- Screws
- Glass
- Metal
- Kerbs
- Road debris
- Punctures
- Blowouts
- Towing included
In one 12-month period, we will replace up to 2 tyres, and allow up to $2,500 for wheel replacement or repairs. Always read the PDS to see what’s covered
What’s Not Covered?
We don’t cover damage to a rim or tyre if it is the result of negligence (abuse, failure to check tyre pressure, etc.), or a manufacturer’s defect. Our policies also don’t cover racing tyres and rims, and off-road tyres don’t qualify. If the failure of a tyre or rim causes other damage to the motorcycle, this is not covered either, nor is any damage that existed before the policy went into effect. To be eligible for coverage, your tyres will have to be road worthy.
